Radiology Associates of South Florida (RASF) is a practice of radiologists that serves hospitals and imaging centers in Southern Florida.
The Challenge
In late 2005, RASF asked FrogDog Communications to build a Web site.
RASF needed a polished Web site to reinforce its professional reputation, as well as provide employees with an on-line tool to submit and manage work requests, including vacations, work schedules, and expense reports.
Entering this project, RASF lacked a brand. The company wanted this project to create and launch its identity, including a logo and its look-and-feel—which it wanted FrogDog to create.
The FrogDog Solution
Coordinating with the client on its services and goals, FrogDog created a sophisticated logo for RASF and built from the logo into a solid Web site look-and-feel. The site uses imagery that reflects the company’s focus and South
Florida roots.
FrogDog created a site with simple navigation and succinct, helpful content for patients and for hospitals and clinics that hire radiologists to read imaging studies and provide diagnoses. The site gives biographies of each of RASF’s physicians, describing their subspecialties, the locations at which they read, and the imaging modalities they cover. The site also provides links to radiology resources for physicians and patients.
To make the site work for its intended internal audiences, FrogDog created a password-protected side of the site for RASF physicians that includes message boards, on-line submission forms, and contact information.
RASF now has a foundation for its brand image that accurately reflects its services. The RASF administrator’s workload has been greatly reduced by the automated processes on the back end, and RASF physicians benefit from standardized processes and convenient communication channels.
