FrogDog Launches BEAR Toy Drive for November 2012

Nov 01, 2012

For the month of November 2012, FrogDog is hosting a holiday toy drive for Be a Resource for CPS Kids (BEAR), a nonprofit that helps abused and neglected children in the Harris County Child Protective Services system.

The BEAR toy drive provides holiday gifts to children who otherwise would receive nothing during the holiday season.

In 2011, BEAR secured gifts for more than 8,400 children. This year, FrogDog wants to help BEAR serve even more children than ever before--and we need your help!

How? Simple! Here's the process:

  1. Shop for toys. (How fun is that?)
  2. Deliver the toys you purchase to the FrogDog offices between November 1 and November 30. (Easy peasy--we're centrally located!)

FrogDog will then deliver the toys to the BEAR warehouse in early December.

Children of all ages need sponsors this holiday season--from infants to teenagers. Gift ideas include

  • action figures,
  • educational toys,
  • cosmetics,
  • jewelry,
  • games,
  • electronics,
  • toy and remote-control vehicles,
  • board games and puzzles, and
  • dolls and stuffed animals.

You can also shop directly from the Pinterest page FrogDog created for this drive, shipping the gifts directly to our offices. Gifts must be new and unwrapped.

FrogDog's offices are located at 4707 Eigel, Houston, Texas 77007, and we accept gifts during work days from 9-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-5 p.m. and by appointment from November 1 through November 30, 2012.
