Leslie Farnsworth to Teach Nonprofit Marketing Class at Rice University

Leslie Farnsworth, CEO of FrogDog, and Kelli Newman, of Newman & Newman, will teach the class they created for Rice University’s Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, “Communication for Nonprofits” over the course of two full days, March 24 and April 28, 2015. It will be held on campus at Rice University in Houston, Texas. The team teaches the class twice each year.

The course covers planning, messaging, marketing, public relations, crisis management, social media, and other best practices in communication for nonprofits. During the two-day class, participants engage in writing activities and peer review.

Prospective participants can learn more and register on-line before March 24, 2015. The course offers 1.2 continuing education units and discounts are available for members of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Rice students and faculty, Rice alumni, and the Executive Service Corps of Houston.
